Bank of England discuss working in business and financial sectors
We recently had some very special guests from the Bank of England.
They dropped by to hold workshops for our year 10 and year 11 students who are interested in working in the business and financial sectors. So really the perfect guests for this!
The sessions were really interesting, with everyone learning something new.
“We were so impressed with the year 10 and 11 pupils from the Co-op Academy Grange when we visited this week. We had a really good discussion with them where we were able to explain a bit about what the Bank of England does and the careers available. We hope some of them think about working for us in the future!”

During the session, we found out that Bank of England will be opening a new office in Leeds.
“We’re looking forward to working with the Bank of England again in the near future and are very excited for the opening of their Leeds office as it will create more opportunities for our students and people in our communities.”
