When staff from Paramount Legal Costs Limited came into the school to part in the Year 10 practice job interviews, they asked if they could have a look around the school.
They were impressed with the new library and Helen Spalding made a very generous offer to encourage their staff and customers to buy some books to put into the library for all our students to enjoy.
The students who visited Waterstones in Bradford as part of our World Book Day celebrations made a list of books that they would like to see in the library. On Friday Helen and her colleague Karen Walsh brought a large suitcase full of brand-new books, more than we had requested!
The pictures show some of our students admiring the new books. The Student Librarians will be working hard to get these books processed and onto the shelves.
Our thanks go to all the staff and customers who took the time to buy some books from our school. We really appreciate their kindness, and we are looking forward to reading them.
