Hornsea Geography Field Work
Y11 Geography students completed their compulsory fieldwork activities this week. This involved going on a visit to a coastal town on the Holderness Coast called Hornsea. Here they investigated whether the Groynes stopped a coastal process called Longshore Drift and in the afternoon they investigated how the environment changed as they moved away from the seafront. All the students and staff had a fantastic time by the coast, and luckily it did not rain!
