The academy is a Stonewall School Champion and works towards eliminating homophobic, biphobic and transphobic language and bullying from our school.

These kinds of bullying and language can have a impact on the wellbeing of students and have knock-on effects on their attendance and attainment.

• tackling biphobic and transphobic language and bullying and how to celebrate difference
• celebrating difference through assemblies and tutor time tasks
• supporting lesbian, gay, bi and trans young people
